Вчера, 2 мая, разработчики опубликовали очередную версию клиента полного узла биткоина Bitcoin Core 0.18.0.
🔽Как и предполагалось, теперь полные узлы биткоина, работающие на базе новой версии Bitcoin Core, смогут взаимодействовать с аппаратными кошельками, включая Ledger, Trezor, Digital BitBox, KeepKey или Coldcard через инструмент Hardware Wallet Interaction (HWI). Такое решение позволит пользователям достичь повышенного уровня безопасности. Воспользоваться данной функцией пока возможно только через командную строку, однако разработчики пообещали, что со временем сделают это решение доступным всех пользователей, в том числе и тех, у кого нет специализированных знаний.
Также в новой версии клиента появился инструмент командной строки под названием bitcoin-wallet, с помощью которого можно создать новый файл кошелька, не прибегая при этом к функции удаленного вызова процедур, и просматривать основную информацию о существующем кошельке: статус шифрования, использование контрольной фразы, количество транзакций и т. д.
✅Впоследствии пользователи могут объединить несколько созданных ими кошельков и управлять ими через графический интерфейс (GUI). Эта функция, названная multiwallet, будет улучшаться с последующими обновлениями, поскольку проблемы при использовании графического интерфейса для доступа к multiwallet, все еще остаются.
